The original postal collection/delivery point that served this area many, many years ago, is still standing, even though it has been embraced by a huge wild fig tree, the original building can be seen through the roots. The building is on an erf in Bushman’s Creek development which adjoins the old village. A real glimpse of history that goes back to the Voortrekkers and 1820 settlers – possibly even before!
